Sheet Metal Apprentices Rehabbing Boyer - Photo Op Today & Tomorrow
TOLEDO, Ohio, September 17, 2009 – The Willis B. Boyer Museum Ship is the beneficiary of hundreds of man-hours of improvements compliments of the Toledo Area Sheet Metal Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee of the Local Union #33. The sheet metal union apprentices have been on deck since Monday assisting with major deck restoration projects and will continue through noon on Friday, September 18, 2009. In addition, the effort is also being assisted by NBI Construction Services. This is an excellent example of the partnership between pubic and private entities for the betterment of this community.
