Dawn Wenk, SPHR
Human Resources Administrator & Associate Counsel

Dawn Wenk serves as the Human Resources Administrator & Associate Counsel and Assistant Secretary & Fiscal Officer for the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority.

Ms. Wenk joined the Port Authority in 2001 and provides human resources, legal, and administrative support services to all Port Authority divisions, including Airport, Seaport, Finance, New Project Development, and Communications.

Prior to the Port Authority, Ms. Wenk was an associate with a local law firm with an emphasis on employment and human resources-related matters.

Ms. Wenk grew up in Manchester, Michigan and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Eastern Michigan University, majoring in political science with a minor in the German language and psychology.  Ms. Wenk then attended the University of Toledo Law School where she earned her Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree, Cum Laude, was elected to membership in the Order of the Coif, and served as a Technical Editor for the Toledo Law Review after publication in that journal.

Ms. Wenk is also licensed to practice law in Florida, is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Toledo Bar Association, Toledo Area Human Resources Association (TAHRA), and Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).
