Eric J. Frankl, A.A.E.
Director of Airports

Eric is the Director of Airports for the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority.  In that capacity, Eric has overall responsibility for the financial performance, operation and administration of both Toledo Express and Metcalf Airports.  He has worked in the airport industry for over seventeen years.  Prior to taking the position with the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, Eric was the Executive Director for the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport in Springfield, Illinois.    Prior to Springfield, he was the Director of Operations at Fort Wayne International Airport in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University where he received bachelor of science degree in aerotechnology in 1986.    He received his professional accreditation in 1996 from the American Association of Airport Executives and served as president of the Great Lakes Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives in 2004/2005.  He was also a member of the Ohio Air National Guard for nine years at Mansfield Lahm Airport.
